ViPeel in Orange County will:

  • Improve the tone, texture, and clarity of the skin
  • Reduce or eliminate brown spots, freckles, and hyper-pigmentation
  • Soften lines and wrinkles
  • Clear acne skin conditions and reduce or eliminate scars
  • Stimulate the production of collagen for firmer more youthful skin
  • Shrink pore size

A Vi Peel is blend of ingredients like trichloroacetic acid, phenol, salicylic acid, vitamin C, and tretinoin. These chemicals exfoliate the skin and stimulate collagen and elastin production for smoother and tighter skin.

The acid in the peel causes exfoliation of dead and damaged skin cells. Your body will interpret this as an injury and will begin the natural healing process, producing new collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin are proteins that add structure to tissues. More collagen and elastin results in firmer skin.

A Vi Peel is also great for treating skin discoloration by reducing the upper layers of the skin (epidermis) and correcting the dark pigments within the middle layer of the skin (dermis). This chemical peel penetrates into the pores and reduces oil production, kills bacteria, and unclogs pores, addressing acne breakouts.

Am I a Good Candidate for a Vi Peel?

The best candidates for a Vi Peel are people who want a non-invasive solution for correcting mild to moderate signs of skin aging. These include fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, and minor acne scars. It is highly recommended for those suffering from acne, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, and enlarged pores.

People who have immune disorders, are pregnant, are allergic to aspirin, hydroquinone, or phenol, are using acne medication, or have been exposed to chemotherapy or radiation in the past six to twelve months should consider other treatment options for treating mild to moderate skin aging. Those with active cold sores should treat this condition before undergoing a Vi Peel.

FAQs

After consulting with our physician, the peeling agent will be applied by a qualified member of our Platinum team. You will leave the office with the peel on and complete home care instructions and products to use in the upcoming days. Obsolete peels of the past, without exception, epitomized the “no pain, no gain” approach to skin care. Before ViPeel, the deeper the peel, the more painful, the more downtime, the better the results. ViPeel is the first “Next Generation” in mid-level to deep peels. It uses the synergy of all available modes of action of various peeling agents to produce a multitude of positive effects.

With its unique combination of acids and vitamins, ViPeel will help erase fine lines and wrinkles, shrink enlarged pores, and build collagen and elastin which tightens the skin. It is extremely effective in reducing or eliminating brown spots and in fighting active acne and reducing acne scars.

Not really. You will feel a slight stinging sensation for a few seconds which subsides completely almost immediately. The skin numbing effect takes place after the first pass of the peeling agent on your skin. Any warmth you have will be immediately relieved by our state-of-the-art cooling technology present in the treatment room.

The skin will look slightly tan to red immediately after the peel is applied. On days one and two the skin will feel slightly tighter with no visible signs of having had a peel except for the tanned appearance. Any pigmented areas might appear darker, which is a good sign. On about day three, you will begin to peel. The first signs of peeling usually begin around the mouth area and continue for a day or two. With the use of the provided moisturizer, you may go about your usual daily routine. By the sixth or seventh day, the peeling is complete, and the results are dramatic!

The skin peeling associated with the ViPeel is a light, fluffy peel that will normally be finished or significantly decreased by the end of the fourth day. The peeling is easily hidden by the moisturizer.

Makeup may be worn any time after the peeling solution has dried. Makeup should not be worn on the days that the skin is peeling, just the moisturizer. Makeup can be resumed at the conclusion of peel.

Sun exposure should be limited and the sunblock in your take home kit worn anytime you are outdoors in the sun. Try as much as you can to avoid any serious sun exposure during the days when your skin is actively peeling.

The Orange County ViPeel was originally formulated for acne sufferers. The peel is excellent for both adult and adolescent acne. Results are quick and impressive. Combined with a daily skin regimen, almost all acne cases can be effectively and safely managed.

A single ViPeel will achieve significant repair and add a healthy glow to the skin. The peel may be repeated as often as every two weeks if necessary for damaged skin. Our recommendation for average skin would be once every three months to prevent on-going damage and to rejuvenate the skin. Our medical team will evaluate your skin and make appropriate individual recommendations.

Like everything in life, skin needs maintenance. The ViPeel results will have a longer lasting effect if skin care is maintained, sun exposure is moderate, and preventative aging methods such as micro peels and facials are on-going.
